Policy Analyst Cleantech for Iberia

Permanent employee, Full-time · Spain

Intro Role
Type: Full-time employment
Location: Remote (Spain/Portugal)

Are you a policy analyst who is passionate about climate innovation and looking to make a difference?
Cleantech Group, the global authority on sustainable innovation, is expanding its team to support its Cleantech for Iberia, the sister initiative of our flagship Cleantech for Europe. This is your chance to actively shape a greener, more innovative EU.
Purpose of the role
Cleantech for Iberia is an initiative gathering 21 cleantech investors, scale-ups, universities and incubators, and supported by Bill Gates-founded Breakthrough Energy to help the Iberian Peninsula become Europe’s next cleantech industrial leader.
Launched in 2023, the initiative is the voice of cleantech innovation in the region, publishing research on cleantech investment and identifying a path to Iberia’s climate and industrial leadership. We organise events where cleantech and policy leaders discuss how policy can support climate leadership. We orchestrate the cleantech ecosystem across the peninsula to expand deal flow and leveraging investments for the next generation of industries. We are working to define a strong and consistent brand, have launched a web platform and attracted early press coverage.
We are looking for a talented, energetic, and collaborative policy analyst to help us expand our coverage of Spain and Portugal’s climate, energy and innovation policies. You will be part of a passionate team and regularly interact with a high-level network of innovators, investors, policymakers, NGOs and think-tanks.
