Account Manager EMEA & APAC

Intro Role
At Cleantech Group, we are building a high-performance sales culture to support and expand our research, events and consulting solutions for our European and Asian client base. 

As part of our European sales team, you will play a key role in driving growth from existing clients, and demonstrating responsibility and accountability is key.

The role is based in London (hybrid), reporting to the Director of Sales & Client Services. You will be expected to be in the London office twice a week.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain relationships within our European and Asian client base.
  • Accountable for on-time renewals of annual contracts.
  • Understand client mission and align products and services to meet client needs.
  • Prospect in existing accounts through networking and sales discovery activities.
  • Increase client revenue by uncovering and closing upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
  • Work closely with research, consulting and event teams to maximize the client experience, ensuring continuous market-based feedback.
  • Manage client expectations, questions, and feedback with internal stakeholders.
Requirements (you don’t need all of these to apply)
  • 3+ years of demonstrated record of successfully selling intangible services (consulting, research).
  • Knowledge of the ‘Cleantech’ sector preferred.
  • Self-motivated, proactive and solution-driven team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Natural networker and team player who is highly organized and detail-oriented.
  • Ability to provide accurate forecasts and meet quarterly targets.
  • Maintaining daily CRM hygiene with knowledge of Salesforce is preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • An inquisitive mindset driven to create client value.
  • Understanding of international business and cultural nuances.
  • Willingness to travel internationally.
